who am I?
People know me as Pepe de Lucas, but my name is José Luis de Lucas Palacios.

I was born in Madrid, and, actually I'm living and working in London with Begoña, my wife and Daniel, my son.

Bachelor in Fine Arts, major in Painting with honours. Also I've taken several courses of computer animation, illumination and video editing.

I'm a 3d Character Animator with more than twelve years of experience in different companies and departments.

At the moment, I'm working in "Framestore, London" as Lead Animator and Character Animator in the feature film "Tale of Despereaux" which will be realised in December 2008.

In "Filmax Animation|Bren Entertainment", Spain, I have been Animator in other five animation feature films: "Donkey.Xote", "P3k | Pinocchio 3000", "El Cid, The Legend", "Gisaku" and  "Perez, el ratoncito de tus sueños" Also, we did a TV Series called "Goomer".

I studied Fine Arts and since I was a child, I have been a great lover of cinema.

I tried to live off of painting a few years, but it was very tough. One day I watched "Terminator 2" and in that moment I realized that my two great passions (Fine Arts and Cinema) walked together in a profession: 3d Animator for Feature Films, so, here I am.
what I want?
Animation is what I enjoy most.

The important thing for me is to work in a friendly environment where the quality and the creativity should be its main focus and where I can grow artistically.
